Despite the name, this blog is for anybody who wants to learn about more than just parenting. My name is Jake, and over the last 16 years I have gone through many phases — college student, software engineer, homeowner, husband and father.

I have learned a ton along the way, and I want to share that with you so you can do the following

Learn From My Mistakes

The best way to learn is by trying, and in a lot of cases that means mistakes will be made. While I do think mistakes are a natural part of any growth process, I'd rather save you the time and pain of going through some things yourself.

Gain New Perspective

Half of the battle when it comes to being an adult is having an open mind and trying to see things from a different point of view. By sharing my views and experiences here I'm hoping that I can help spark new ideas and goals.
